Alrighty! I had a friend come over yesterday and take some "before shots". Let's just say that in only my workout attire, I'm extremely hesitant to put these out in the world. But, I'm doing this for me...I'm being vulnerable here. Taking these pictures really made me see what I've done to myself. It's funny how you can look in the mirror and think "eh, I don't look too bad" only to see a picture of that same day and think "oh my God! Is that really what I look like?!?!?!". That's usually how I see myself in any picture that is taken of me, these photos are no different.
I wish I was a Photoshop expert and show you exactly how I wish my body would look after I've completed this journey...but alas I am not. So, imagine scribbles cutting away half of my stomach so that it's nice and almost flat (I've had two kids, I'm being realistic here). Imagine scribbles taking away my double/triple chin and giving my neckline some definition. Add some more scribbles on my backside...now don't get me wrong, I love having an apple bottom, just not the watermelon bottom I currently have...so just a little lift ;). Finally, some scribbles on my upper thighs and upper arms, to remove some of the bulk there.
Yes, you don't need to adjust the colour of your screen...I really am that pasty white! And yes, that is my real hair! LOL! I thought that I would have my hair look super crazy in my before picture and then for my "After" picture have it styled and awesome - making the transformation even more of a Wow Factor! teehee!
So (taking deep breath) here are my "before" photos.
I don't have much else to say, except I can't wait to see these posted next to some pretty great "after" photos!

It takes real courage to post your before photos. Thank you for sharing, I hope that others will start reading your blog and become inspired. Keep up the good work, and stay motivated!
ReplyDeleteI really debated whether of not to post them, but I figured that I'm here to be honest, real honest.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind comments Nichole.
This is awesome! (all the posts, not just this one) this really takes guts...and I've gotta say you've got some great elasticity in you skin for having 2 kids! My elasticity is terrible. I'm definitely inspired :-) I've wanted to try those insanity videos. My cousin did them after her first and she looked incredible at just 4 months post partum, and she gained 60 with her pregnancy. I'm excited to to see and hear about the transformation each week!
