Busy Busy!

Whew! The last two days have been busy busy for me!

On Friday evening I had a Norwex Cleaning Party at my house. And, of course I saved all my tidying up and snack preparations for the last minute. So, all day Friday I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. With that, I forgot to have both lunch and dinner!! Can you believe it?!? I know that it's such a terrible thing to do to your body when you are trying to lose weight, but I just was so focused on other things that I completely forgot! Let this be a lesson to me...try and prepare ahead of time a few snacks and Isagenix IsaLean Bars to get through a busy day like that.

Then, on Saturday we celebrated Miss M's 2nd birthday! How fun! Yet again, saved things for the last minute, and during her nap I was busy assembling her new gift, a Play Kitchen. With the debacle of no meals the day before, I made sure that I had at least my Isagenix IsaLean Shake while I was busy assembling.Of course, what is a toddler's birthday party without cupcakes! Proudly, I only had one cupcake - not three or four like I would normally consume.

Yesterday I finish my 2nd week of Insanity!! I'm so proud of making it this far. I feel like strength-wise my body is already changing. Don't misunderstand me, the workouts are still hard for me, and I am still modifying some of the moves. But, I'm noticing that I can do a few more reps every time, I've even tried to tackle some of the harder moves for me...granted I can only do 2 or 3...but I'll take it! I'm very interested to see what my results are for my Fit Test tomorrow, and see what my measurements are too (I was able to move my belt in one hole this week!).

What are you quick meal solutions for really busy days?

  1. I try to always keep precooked chicken sausages, patties, burgers, those black bean veggie burgers, etc around so I can quickly put them in the microwave while I load the car. Put some cheese on them and eat it in the car. It's fast and high protien. And I try to always have a trail mix or almond clusters in my middle console.
